Home STD testing kits can be ordered online or purchased at a pharmacy. The kits require an oral or genital swab or the collection of a urine or blood sample. 

In-Home STD testing typically works in a manner where send your collected STD sample to whichever lab is being used by that particular service.

At-home STD testing lets you skip a visit to a health center, but it may not be available for every possible scenario. Certain times, one may need to visit a medical center (for example if blood is being drawn).
